You must know the ABC

If you love design, art and beauty you must know the ABC store.

ABC is a huge 6 floor store located at 35 east 18th street, New-York.
I love to be lost in places... and this is defiantly the place to be lost in.
Inside it, they have what everyone needs to design their house of dreams.

If you hungry or just want to relax and enjoy a drink you can find there the
ABC kitchen. It's a restaurant with an amazing atmosphere,
beautiful design and great food.

The most amazing thing in the ABC store, except the items themselves,
is the unique way they present them.
The exhibition space combine old and new,
Industrial products and handmade products, vintage and modern.
The combinations works together in a perfect way with allot
of attention to the smallest details.
Everything seems to be random and coincidental, although it is clear
that everything is in the right place.
Every corner in the store is carefully designed.
This is one of the most attractive and memorable storethat I ever visited.
It was amazing experience for me!
So I suggest you all go to get inspiration from this
unique place.

NYC Flea Markets

I love Flea Markets, it's one of my favorite things to do!
One of the first things I did when I arrived to NY, it was to find out
where are all the flea markets hidden in this big city?

I created a list and hit the road!
Up to this day I visited two flea markets and this is what I found...

mirror mirror on the wall...

My first stop was in HELLS' KITCHEN flea market.
This market located on west 39th street between 9th and 10th avenues.
In this market you can find second hand antiques alongside to
young designers items.

Vintage items

Pepsi bottles from the sixties

Vintage handles

Vintage tennis racquet's

My sexy husband measures hats

My second stop was the ANTIQUES GARAGE.
The garage located at 112 west 25th street, between 6th ant 7th avenues.
The antiques garage has been attracting thousands of shoppers each weekend
since 1994. You can find there antiques, decorative art, vintage items,
jewelry, handbags and furniture's.

Down the road at west 25th street between Broadway and 6th avenues,
at WEST 25th STREET MARKET you can find
antiques, collectibles and other types of vintage.
The African stand is the most immpresive one i found there.
I found there handmade baskets and chairs created from beads.

The West Village magic

As you know I moved to NYC over a month ago.
This week I got my first visitor from Israel. I was very excited!!!
My special visitor is Lotan Singer Drori. she is very talented Interior designer,
and one of the studio OPA owners.
This studio design bars, restaurants and apartments in Israel.

We decided to make restaurant research (but not only) in the
West Village area, it was very appetizing.

Just imagine yourself, two designers walking in the big city,
taking Pictures in every corner.
It was real celebration.
West Village streets, shops, bars, restaurant and cafes
was so creative, the inspiration was every where.
